Machu Picchu - Alvaro H. Pescador R – 2001. The so called “Condor Hill” appears highlighted in yellow. A bigger Condor might be formed with an scarlet wing over the Wayna Picchu. Even bigger, another Condor in a blue green can be seen when including the other mountain. Does the Incas knew about fractals?

Sun’s Temple - Alvaro H. Pescador R – 2001. On December the 21st during the summer solstice in the south hemisphere, the Sun lights into the window to the Urubamba River. During the Spring equinoctial enters by the adjacent window. It is Astronomically harder to calculate equinoctials than solstices. The Sun’s Temple in Machu Picchu allows both things, having the windows an angle close to the 90°. |
